Leak Buster Creator Writes Free Poker E-Book

It's not every day that the creator of a popular piece of poker software writes an e-book, but that's exactly what happened to John Anhalt, who developed Leak Buster. Anhalt released a strategy book called "Polished Poker" and the best part is that the title is completely free.

The e-book is 111 pages long and comes from the brain of Anhalt, who also developed Ace Poker Drills and Poker Zion. As the book's website explains, Anhalt is no poker novice: "He's authored three poker e-books, made over 100 instructional poker videos, hosted live workshops on poker theory, and has been interviewed on about poker on radio and TV over the years."

Polished Poker takes a look at the following areas of the game, just to name a few: why you play the game, getting it together, bankroll management, probability, reads and notes, and how to play in the blinds – you know, parts you'd want to know in order to be a top-notch online and live poker player.

The text on playing from the blinds looks fairly in-depth by itself, as it covers defending and squeezing from the small blind and big blind against early opens, steals, button steals, button opens, bets from the cutoff, and opens from the cutoff. There's also an entire section devoted to the art of 3betting.
